This DIY is going to be for all of my birdie lovers!!! My father-in-law LOVES birds, and as a gift to him, I wanted to do something nice, easy, and super crafty. ;-)
I decided what better gift then a large bird feeder?!?! SO COOL!!!
What you will need:
*Plastic Plate
*Plastic Bowl (I recommend one as pliable as possible I used a hard plastic one and you'll see it cracked when I drilled the whole ;))
*12 inch (or longer) metal rod with threads
*4 nuts and 4 washers
*String
*Screw Driver with a drill bit the size of the rod you bought.
First drill your holes in the middle of your plate and your bowl
next take the rod and put a nut and a washer on it
slide the plate on and cover it with a washer then a nut
next put a nut and a washer on the opposite end of the rod (notice my duct tape cause i broke the bowl since its a hard plastic ;) )
slide the bowl on and put on a washer then a nut
Take your string and tie it in a knot (in the middle of the string)between the top nut and washer above the plate then tie the string together.
VOILA! Your Birdie Lover Bird feeder!!!!
Happy Crafting!!
TTFN!!
I LOVE to do crafty things! I mostly enjoy making bows for my daughter to wear with every outfit, and most of the time its a last minute "SWING IT" type bow so that is why I came up with the title of my blog! This blog will mostly be a "how to" on the crafts that I do!! It will be a fun yet silly blog...because life is just too short to be serious all the time! I hope that you enjoy it and have some fun doing the crafts that I also have fun doing!
